Finally Spring Like Weather

So I took the cover off, disconnected the Porsche Tech charger, and wiped her down. Just wanted to share how much I missed my girl over the winter. Here are a couple of Black Berry pics.

We had a 3-day track event at Road Atlanta last weekend. Went above 70 each day with a good bit of sun. Really gives ya spring fever and a good dose of track fever also.

It wont' be long now. The weather has been nice and have been tempted to fire her up and at least drive out of the garage.

I cant wait!!! I purchased my car in November and basically drove it home and put it in the garage.

Todd, I see you are in Cleveland area. My office is in Solon and I live in Brunswick. Where abouts are you? Also do you have any mods or plans on modding your beast?

I admit I don't quite get the 'put her away for the winter' idea. I BOUGHT the 996TT so that I could drive it all winter. My previous car, while I loved it (C6) was useless in the winter.

The 996 is an amazing winter car. Handles snow flawlessly.

Why park it for 1/2 the year when you can drive it!

I guess having two 4 matics for winter driving allows to have the winter queen Turbo. Also here in Ohio and Michigan...the salt is brutal on everything! I would rather not subject my TT to that carnage. Now maybe if I get a 997TT Tip it would be a different story.

I store the TT and my B7 S4. I could not subject them to the Ohio dirt and salt. I have a nice Subaru with bizacks and a F250 to drive in the winter. The F250 has 300k miles and going strong. Got a love a Ford truck
