That'd be dependant on your tune, not the injector sizing AFAIK. A good, possibly even mediocre, tuner could make a car idle fine on 1000cc's. The 625whp Civic I previously mentioned idles just fine on the 1200cc's. It is, however, idling at around 1250rpm.
Tial I made 702whp on my 18's there is no 28rs car that would keep up with me bottom line, I talked to you guys at PRI about these turbo's. they look great and would love to sell them, I just need to prove to guys they will not have much lag over my current set up. Why didnt you guys go billet with these?
PS : no way in hell you can make 914whp on 60lbs injectors. Any 1/4 mile times or 60-130 data on that car?

well only bad part is if I did and they do what I think they will. The 18g's would go obsolete...and tial would be out of stock for a while.
All depends on the tune-up, they're all based on the same injector body. We have the 1,000cc's in our car and I'll be honest even without a tailored tune in Texas we only had stalling on deceleration (which is more than likely from not having it setup for a lightweight flywheel or the bad sensor we discovered later). It will take a few tries to get it right on the tune-up as with any major modification, but it's nice to know you'll never run out of injector (and in your case and others with additional pumps, likely fuel either).
Chris I'm with you on the Tials, once we get the time to go out and play with the 24/18G's and get them figured out, I'm going to bet we get some 30-71 or 76's on the way to push the hell out of the car.

YES. Tial has GT3076's AND GT3071's that will bolt right up to your stock 996tt manifolds.

I spent quite a bit of time talking with Tony about different options and decided to beta test one of EPL's new turbo solutions....a new Tial GT 3071 set up. From the compressor maps i've seen, these will flow more the K24/18gs and the custom housings allow these turbos to mate right up to the stock manifold and exhaust flanges.

First off, most people don't know but injectors are flowed at different rates all the time. The 60's we run are rated at 3.0 bar, so even installed with a stock fpr at 3.8 bar, they're already 67.5lb injectors, at 5 bar, they can flow 77.4lbs. The guys running those "60lb" rc injectors aren't rated the same and by the injector constants we've had to run, are only a 54lb injector by comparison.
In response to the power made on that dyno sheet, yes it took a lot of work to get it there on 60s. Most we've ever seen on them.
On Sunoco 260GT 100 octane, the car hit 834 rwhp at 100% duty cycle. We were seeing where the limits are. Sunoco 260GT is a fuel with very low density. We were about 4 bar fuel pressure on the 60's, which is the equivalent of a 69 to 70lb injector, running at a .5 bsfc equates to about that power at the crank. The numbers are run on a Dynapack 4000, in 4th gear at an accel rate of about 8 seconds from 2000 rpm's to redline. The car has gt35r's, 3.8l, gt3 cam synchs and programming, McKenzie Cylinder heads, on and on and on. Yes, it's fully built. AS to the correction factor, we never apply one. That's what the dyno reads, those are the numbers produced. The only correction factor is for BP, relative humidity and temp.
The 914.4 was made on C16, a very dense fuel. We did that specifically to get more fuel through the same injectors as it was limited. That, combined with raising the fuel pressure again, produced 914.4rwhp/809.6rwtq, again, not corrected for rwhp to crank, only atmospheric conditions.
At that point, it was tapering lean, so we stopped. We knew we were out of injectors, we were finding the limits.
The conditions were BP 28.9mmhg, 51.7degF, 100% rel humidity.
As to what they produce on a mustang dyno, I don't know. I know they read lower than the dynojet and dynapack, but it varies from car to car by great amounts.
As for 1/4 mile times, etc. That particular client has not run that car, however, Divexxtreme is well known for his high mph runs, hitting 148mph early on, then 153mph just prior to selling the car (on his driftbox) and his produced less power ON THE SAME DYNO. Bobby has also run 148mph in his GT2 that produced less power than both of them. They also hold many records in the 60-130 competitions with their own brand of 'kool aid' power....
Badgering people and trying to humiliate them is ridiculous.
These are the conditions, facts, and figures about some of these cars. Take it in context and do with it what you'd like.
