Class action lawsuit? I'm not a lawyer and I did not sleep at a Holiday in Select last night.

 

Having had at least a little exposure to the legal terms, I'm pretty sure this would not constitute a class action lawsuit to get a bunch of people all going against the guy you're talking about. I believe in legal terms it would instead be called "similarly situated victims". Good luck!

I just want to say THANK YOU for those that post these type of things, I came very close to buying a Cayman and having a 3.8 motor swap performed by this guy about 1.5 years ago. Not only would I have a modded Cayman with zero value (albeit a quick one!) but I might have lost a considerable amount of money to the tooner.

For what it may contribute to the discussion, and not trying to upset anybody who has had negative experiences, Neil has been correct in all his dealings with me.
The way that I assess the situation is that we are dealing with somebody who is an excellent mechanic, but may not necessarily be as business savvy. I know that's not an excuse to deal with things the way it has been described above, but based upon what I've seen, the money certainly did not move straight into his bank account.
