New Project called B9R Under Construction...at BBi
Just an update on your questions Chad, did not go with shuffle pin on the crank but Neil has been in charge of O-ringing the heads as well as head gasket
Lots of things going on your thread brother, keeps all of us looking toward the future.

NO and NO per Betim. Here is what you asked eariler also for the head lateral forces, quoted by Betim "We are using t-style washers to address this issue"
Hey Ben, hope all is well with you also. Give it about 2-3 weeks.

I think you are using 12mm studs? If you dont mind me asking where did you get these from? With these studs, how much pressure did you use to clamp the heads down? Are you guys using a different manifold? Once again, god speed with your build.

Hey Rob,
Yup, 12mm with air craft engineering F1 racing innovation. The studs should hold up to ..psi
Clamping down up to ...lb TQ. Lateral movement on heads taken care of and so is vertical forces. Same manifold. New pistons should arrive tomorrow. Rods needs to be modified with the new pistons for the wrist pins since 3.8L engine uses a different set up. Thanks for the kind words Rob.

Not with the new technology
If I tell you that it withstands up to ..5bar.....
.....matter of time to test & see

That is awesome! Wow, this is a great year for the turbo but a bad year for the wallet! Joe's car, Chad's car and your car... you guys are making me pull my wallet back out!
Good Luck
Robert
