So Art, any news from the build? We are cheering for you from Germany, we already opened up a few beers today for you How are the soccer games going down in L.A. I heard that Inter Milan did not play their best game.

Any idea when the Studs come back? How about the Rods?

 

Until Thomas comes in and gives you the scoop, the clutch was sent out to Carbonetcis yesterday for further modification. The modified rods are coming in today. Studs should be back by end of this week. Fuel set up is on its way this week also. Stay tuned!!

 

I heard a rumor that things are moving a little quicker now. Keep us posted bro.

 

The head studs are back. Still waiting for rods to come in before the motor can be put back together.

 

Wish I would have known. I have new sets of Carillo, Ruf titaniun and Pauter that I never used.

What is your take on Titanium rods? I know that Scott and a few other high hp did not change out their rods because they are strong enough for their horsepower leverl. So what about titanium used by ruf?

They usually take the OEM ones as core exchange and give you the modified ones.

 

Perhaps Chad can chime in on this one. I am going with Carillo Rods probably similar to yours with the fitting for 3.8L.
