Quote: Chad, who's ignoring the underside. Lowering the car decreases the amount of air under the car which increases the air over the car ratio to air under the car which increases downforce, and I mentioned that. I agree that the underside is important. But all aspects are. I just want everyone to be safe.

Dennis
I am referring to a pan not unlike the CGT has from front to rear.

Quote: I am referring to a lot more than lowering the car.
I am sure you were, however, most of that is unnecessary, when lowering and more rake can get you what you want. And the cost of what you speak is also an unnecessary expense. Do you have access to a wind tunnel, because there are not many studies on all this for our cars and that is what it will take to see how it works.

Here is what I got from reading 9ff's car, check it out not much but good knowledge.

If that Supra was OK then we should be OK, that's the way I look at it.

Raking the car makes a lot of sense. You're essentially creating an artificial low pressure area which in turn creates downforce for the car.

I am going to have a video for all you guys by end of today. Studs are being placed as we speak. Clutch was modified and I just got off the phone with Carbonetics, they were successful in modifying the clutch to hold down 900 Wheel TQ and is being shipped to BBi as we speak. There are new parts on the clutch that is not released yet to public and comes from Japan, there will be more news on it for the guys that own Carbonetcis (For now reserve your questions). New axles are coming in from Vivid by next week. Rods should be delivered to BBi by end of business day today. Looks like the Beast is going to awaken soon. More to come!!!

Art,

I am not familiar with Vivid's axles. Are they the multi piece or the newer single piece design? What is the warranty?

We had made a set several years ago. Then Todd at Protomotive had started making them for the general public. I believe they were multi piece. Todd at EVO then started offering multi piece and then introduced single piece. Now I see Vivid is also selling the single piece axle.

My understanding is EVO has a lifetime warranty and from what you are saying Vivid offers a one year warranty. I really don't know if one is any better than the other. I'm wondering how they compare price wise?

I am going to be changing mine again. I guess I'll have to look into this over the next couple of months.
