Quick pics of my interior

I've been working on my interior on and off for the past month I dropped off my center console, steering wheel (cracked CF) and my gold porsche emblem and asked my painter guy to work his magic.

I've finally put it together (90%) so I just snapped some pics.

Excuse the really dirty car

The center console is painted flat gray... kind of like a "primer" color

Painted the steering wheel the same (not sure how I feel about it)

Eclipse AVN6620

Here's the CF fabric... I didn't want to blitz the interior too much with the CF fabric...hopefully I was able to achieve a good balance.

Switched out the steering wheel for my fav mod so far

Here's the emblem.... I was surprised how well it came out

Thanks everyone

Next up... more exterior mods

Edwin

Ed,

i like what you did, as im in the same boat. i want to "update" in interior somehow or at least make it livable. thats one thing i really miss about our M3's - they had the best interior IMO. (i had the imola red on TI combo - loved it).

so far, ive sueded the center arm rest and sides of the center and radio piece. im also going to suede the bottom door pockets to match and update the gauge faces with some silver ones. hopefully that should bring everything out. any suggestions are welcomed.

btw - where did you get the steering wheel from? want the same one, just no CF. let a homie know son!

wow that new steering wheel is drop dead sexy!!!!! Not really feeling the flat grey wheel, that would have shown so many fingerprints I'd imagine. Still trying to decide on the center console. But one thing, I love that you're not just going the same old route that every one else has. I love the CF fabric mods and ofcourse the LED mods! Keep thinkin outside the box Edwin!!!

Jay, awesome work on sueding the interior. How hard is it? I've love to suede my dash and my roof lining on my RRS. Would love to see pics too

The steering wheel I got used locally but you can get it here

Thanks for the kind words Yeah, I'm also not sold on it. I had it painted flat black once and I might go back to that. The center console is staying for now but only time will tell

The emblem looks really good. Any chance on a better picture down the road? I'd also love to hear about how it was done.

Hey bro, hope all's well. The emblem is the stock hood gold emblem that my painter painted over. He stripped it down and sprayed and cleared it.

Ryan,

Thanks for the kind words. Here's the emblem from a little further away. It was tough to get good lighting b/c of the flash and it being dark in the garage

Looking very good Edwin. Love that steering wheel; they don't have my interior color and must be custom made... too much $$$$.
