Does this exhaust have any excessive highway drone? I'm in the market for an exhaust at the moment...

+1...? How does it compare to stock as far as weight, max backpressure, HP gains, etc? Drone is a big issue--I put a Borla catback system on my Corvette and, while the sound was intoxicating , the drone was deafening

At 2k there is a drone as a daily driver it might be a bit much ,but if you like a deep throaty exhaust or its a weekend car I would go for it as its a beautiful piece. I took my Europipe loud off to put the RPI on. Europipe has a nice sound and no drone but not what I was looking for.The weight and finish is on the RPI side, I shipped my europipe out in a box at a shipping weight of @60lbs.

Yeah, it's my daily driver, so drone is a big deal...interesting that the Europipe has none--I don't want REALLY loud, so maybe I'll look into the Europipe quiet... (BTW, +1 rep for you on the drone response, thanks!)

I agree, if your TT is going to be your DD, the RPI may not be the best choice. The sound is certainly loud and intoxicating; perfect for me though as I drive it once, twice a week.

By how much is the europipe quiet louder than the stock exhaust?

Having had the europipe loud, I would certainly not get the quiet if you want any "aftermarket" sound as the loud is barely noticeable. I know sound is a personal choice, but as much as I love our 996tts they don't have a very "sexy" stock sound. I guess that's what I liked about the RPI as it gives our cars some attitude. I'm sure there are a couple of exhaust that do the same, I just don't have any experience with any.
