New Protomotive 996 TT in (my) town
Look what showed up at our first Cars and Coffee this weekend:

2001 996 TT formerly owned by Protomotive's "undercover" test guy,
Bobby from Oklahoma.
This car has been converted to 2WD, has Proto custom black intakes,
Ford MAF, Proto Intercoolers and the often misunderstood K24/20g's
(Bobby is the first ever to try this turbo and apparently spent alot of
time on Proto's dyno tuning for these).
The car appears very clean and looks fantastic in its white exterior!
According to Markski (Bobby's very good friend) and Todd at Proto,
this car (with stock bottom end) has put down some very formidable
numbers (60-130 and 1/4 mile). I have heard from a fellow 6speeder
who helped drive it back from Chicago and who owns a GT2 with Speed Gallery 700 Kit, that the car pulls VERY, VERY hard at 1.3 bar.
I will be test driving this car and may throw my Driftbox in just for fun,
but we need warmer weather, it snowed last week!

Car looks awesome and sounds like it should be a beast! When Mark said it was forsale originally I thought about selling my car (before I modded it) and picking it up. Hope the new owner enjoys it in good health and finally post some numbers.
I get tired of hearing about all these special turbos but no time slips, 60-130's ever get posted, all I hear is hear/say... I maybe slow, but at least I have proof of it. Let me rephrase that I maybe slow to the big dogs like Mark, Scott, etc.. but to the rest of you... Just call me daddy

That is just nasty. Nothing else to be said.
This was the first 20g ever made... the car was awesome... I drove it a handful of times.... I also was telling you guys about it last year......
