996 TT X50 chip

Guys,

I found a company called Upsolute that sells a chip for $500 that claims 90HP gain on a turbo. Does anyone know if this is true and if this is a reputable company?

This seems much cheaper than any other performance chip I have seen.

Do a search for "Upsolute" -- there has been extensive information posted about their products.

I have an upsolute chip in my x-50, no problems so far. Just change the diverter valves cause the stock ones can't handle the extra power.

msindi installed the Upsolute in his x50 and was not happy with it due to some lag issues. I rode in the car and definately noticed an improvement in power and pull, but the lag was quite bad. He ended up switching over the GIAC. That being said, I beleive Upsolute has solved this lag issue now. Hopefully, more members who have the chip can comment on their experiences. Hope this helps.

Thanks Keoni!

I painted them 2 years ago and last Wednesday I saw 5 cars in Newport Beach with the same paint job. Looks better than stock anyway.
