European Side Mirrors?

Are there European parts for "convex" or "bi-focal" side mirror glass on the 996? I know BMW makes parts that you can order from a parts department in the US. I've seen some aftermarket options for the Porsche, but would rather stick with OEM. Thanks for any help.

Just MO, I used Euro mirrors on my Audi and never got used to them. Unless you have used them and have missed them, my suggestion is to stick with your US version.

Yup. That's what I was talking about.

That's an interesting point. I just figured the more in my visual field, the better. I don't spend much time looking at my side mirrors, and really would just like to make sure that there's nothing in my blindspot at a quick glance. (I'm sure that I'll keep turning my head to check, as well, as I've done it forever. Just hoping this adds an extra level of road-awareness.)

To me, I could see less because the mirrors splitted into two parts. Like you mentioned, I kept turning my head every time anyway.
