A discussion about K16/16G hybrid

I'm looking for any information about the process of building a K16/16g.
I know a vendor would never disclose such and I don't have one infront of me so I have to ask you guys:
From what I gather: Obviosly they start with a k16 turbine and compressor housing but is it a 16g and remachined compressor housing? Is the turbine wheel or housing modified at all?
Is machinework done to the backplate to accomidate the wheel?

Other than a rebalance and a possible modification to the wastegate bracket, What am I missing?

*cough* if anyone has a k16/16g out of the car.. it would take 10 minutes to unbolt the compressor housing and snap a picture or two..

You would think, but it's not that easy to get to the turbos to do that. Trust me...

I wish it were easier because turbo swaps would take half the time

I didn't realize how inexpensive this upgrade was.. I might just post those pictures myself in a week or two.
