Turbo upgrades: About to pull the trigger but....

EPL 16/16G vs UMW 24/16. Both are similar in price.
I know tuner loyalties run deep, and I've received much helpful time from both Tony and Kevin. I just can't decide on which way to go.... or should I just save up a couple bucks, and go with 18G's in the future? My stock 16's are good, but like anyone here, I'm feeling the mod bug now.

Depends what your goals are? Only you know? If you want plenty of power hotrodding around town AND want to blaze on the highway, go right to 18G's. If you want to beat up 18G cars go right to the Tial 3071 or 3076's...like I said, depends where you wanna be. My 18G car almost hit 600awhp today on pump with Meth. Thats almost 700 crank...what more do you want?

Hey TTB, I've been following your updates, and you've built a monster. I nice one too. I'me just looking for a harder hit, street tune, 93 octane mover that spools quickly. Absolute top end is not what I'm after, just good streetablility, and the ability to pull on x50's if necessary.

16G kit and one of Tony's custom tunes is all you need...make that call...

I think you should hold out for the 18gs. Down the line you don't want to have to re-do things.

This is a no brainer. Proximity to the tuner does it all. If i were you ...i wont think twice going with EPL for that reason. Cant beat custom tune.

Tony is proximate, responsive, and has great reviews. He made me a great offer, and I'm up for it. Given top end isn't my thing, and I don't want to go to prison for letting a big boy eat, or sleep on the couch by the wrath of the Mrs., I'm going 16g's.
I've given EPL the nod.

Congrats on both of your decisions. However, don't EVER, EVER, EVER drive a 18G car.

+1 on that. Look at what happened to me. I lasted with the 16g's for 2 months .. I will definitely say they are a great turbo and does a great job for street and track. Just doesnt have the violent highway power.

Now i drove some k24/18g cars and then ...I think I am going with GT3071 now.
