What is the loudest 996tt exhaust?

If you want it to sound decent and not like someone letting the air out of a blimp, do the straight pipes w/a cross over....sounds like a mix of GT3 and TT...really sweet....and I don't care if it costs you a few HP...the sound is worth it.

 

The drone with straight pipes is pretty severe though if it's a daily driver.

 

think the question was of all the exhausts on the markets (straight pipe is no exhaust) which is the loudest?

Yeah, you're losing your test taking skills .
Exhaust is simply the expelling of the waste
products from the combustion process. A
straight pipe surely and efficiently ushers
the exhaust right out the back. I raced
against a guy that has them on his GT2.

The better/alternative term for 'exhaust'
here is probably 'muffler'. So, maybe we
can ask, "what's the loudest muffler?". Of
course the answer could be essentially the
same: "no muffler", but would be less
responsive to the better-phrased question.
Perhaps the OP is asking, "Of the available
commercial muffler products for the 996tt,
which does the least actual muffling?"

My Fabspeed Loud gen 2 with 200 cell Cats is pretty loud. I bug the neighbors more than ever before if that is a gauge . That is a gauge like the Butt Dyno though.

I have loud straight pipes now, I may try adding a cross over to them to see if it quiets it down or not...or mufflers as I can't live like this forever.
