Future-TT is infamous around these parts
Go figure that after building 911's for 40 years the factory would know exactly what wheels and tires to put on the car.

... but dialing in suspension systems and vehicle dynamics electronics better than the Germans will be next to impossible.
This statement is tremendously true. While guys with serious seat time on the track can work with their mechanics to make minute adjustments to get the most out of their car (the way they drive it), most people hurt the handling of the car by going to Joe the Mechanic to put on a set of coil-overs.

I just happened to find this article. Funny thing is that I was looking for it a few months back. I had this article in a magazine many years ago, but lost the mag (circa 2004 or so). I was searching for something else and it popped up. Funny.

Watch for the bail out of the 19 and 20 inch wheels....looking slick can have its downside. I never could see the advantage of putting less rubber between me and the road...rides harder, wheels get bent easier in potholes etc.

Great article. I agree that the Porsche engineers had something in mind when they designed them with the 18's.
