Not something you see everyday. If I has an extra 100g and wife that understood my addiction I would jump on it....

I saw that car a couple of weeks ago,it's immaculate. It is a narrow body Ruf vin R Turbo with the IRC. It's worth more than any franken turbo with mods. This is a good buy for a Ruf vin car.
But in the long run you're still in the Porsche and I'm still in a Vette. Which one would you rather have? The RUF has a collectors value to it, because to some people it's not ALL about speed.
Though I'm like you... Personally I would rather have the 666rwhp Turbo that I have now over a RUF, but not everyone agrees on that.

The RUF is in a whole different class of car. The attention to detail is amazing. It does everything without drama. Worth every cent!
Is this the car that Derrick Bell drove at the Ring in the RUF Video?

Sean using that same logic... I can buy a Vette like Matt's (Lil Powell) for $20k and spend $15k on it and make the "Franken" GT2 (and my car) look stupid from a roll, stop, etc..

That would be the one. I got to drive that car in 2006 and it was very impressive. Of course the RT12 was very nice as well. You just can't go wrong with a RUF.
Sean I didn't mean to offend, I'm certainly not talking about your GT2. A "franken turbo" to me is that $47K 996TT with a bunch of mods that is probably worth less than it was without the mods. I would hardly compare such a car to a Ruf VIN R Turbo, even if it could beat it in a drag race who cares?

My drag racing days are long behind me, we had a '55 Chavy that ran 9's ( NHRA Super Gas) back in the day.

My Mother did take exception with my driving that weekend.
