Those of you that have the k2418g setup and have dyno your car with 1.5 bar with race fuel what kind of numbers did you make or what should someone expect

I'm running 1.45 on ms109. Haven't tried 1.5 yet. That might be a bit much for me. My best 60-130 run is a 6.89 and I trapped 131 in the quarter on a bad tranny.

Haven't dynoed at 1.45, but at 1.35 on the Greddy I pulled 550 HP with 574 tq. DynoJet. I'm estimating my car can make 585-600 with the newly installed intercoolers and rebuilt transmision at 1.45-1.5 bar. But, it's all about the trap speeds and 60-130 times for me. The dyno just told me how much power my upgrades gave me.

Todd,

I would not risk going over 1.35, 1.4 max unless running C16 which would of course require cat removal and retuning. It isn't worth the risk to lose your motor.

Yea, I think it's pretty much dialed in right now. The tranny was the weak link. Looking forward to some serious changes as I prepare for the October Texas Mile.

What is the problem running 1.4 with c16 with cats and 1.1 bar tune?

Nothing if you're tuned for it...

I don't follow. You want to run 1.4 bar on a 1.1 bar tune? You would need at 1.4 bar tune, no. And C16 is leaded right? Just might kill the cats and O2 sensors eventually.

Right. You will have plenty of octane, just not enough fuel. I highly recommend AGAINST running 1.4bar on a 1.1bar tune, even if you are running jet fuel...

Is it the same case when you have 1.4 bar tune and your running 1.1 bar? I rarely use the car at 1.4 bar but would like that option and i currently have the softronic tune 1.1 bar using the greddy boost control

The BEST thing you can do is call your tuner and ask him what you can do. I don't think ANYONE here is going to recommend running 1.4bar on a 1.1 bar tune. You can certainly run 1.1bar on a 1.4bar tune, but you will not be maximizing the tune and likely be running very rich, which won't help your O2 sensors, cats, mileage, etc....

Bingo, Mike is right. Call Scott at Softronic and consult him regarding your tune.
