Curious why tuned for WI as opposed to tuning without to 1.2 to 1.3 bar and then take advantage of the WI so there is still power in case of WI fail or depletion? Limp home without water/meth seems a bit dramatic.

Dont want to nose into proprietary (who am I fooling? of course I am info but how much h2o/meth mix can you carry? what is your rate of usage? I'm guessing injecting after IC's?

Dont get me wrong I think these are great numbers, maybe too great for stock bottom end, but phenominal nevertheless.
In my case, I would rather have the "maximum" tune all the time on meth and for the extremely minimum chance of running out of meth, I'll deal with a short ride home at minimum boost.

To have a non-WI tune and then turn on WI...you're not really taking full advantage of the WI. A custom tune for the WI is by far better then adding WI to a non-WI tune. I have never had an issue of running out of water/meth...

Not to mention...limp mode in my car is not slow by any means....I'd guess its still faster then a chipped K16 car....ha!

Injection is after the IC, yes.
Tank is 6qts.
Rate of usage....on the track (VIR) I go through 3/4 tank in a session, (NJMP) about 1/2 tank in a session. On the road...usually lasts quite a while as I'm not going WOT everywhere!

Hope this helps...

this is good info. Knowing that you are not likely to run out of the stuff. Now where do you buy it. Is it fairly easy to find?

From what I understand, you use windshield washer fluid as the mix, which is easily found and contains meth. Unless you are running a high concentrate meth system where you mix your own to a specific level.

Agreed. The people I know who run meth on their turbo/supercharged apps use windshield washer fluid as well.

yeah I have heard that, that is one of the mixes, but too many people list specific mixes they use, so it cannot always be the case. I would do that as well, as you can go anywhere to get that.

I guess the compromise is: do you want max HP or do you need the cooling for extended periods of acceleration. I chose 100% meth as I just wanted the octane. If I was roadracing, I would have gone 50/50. I picked up 35-40 awhp going from 50/50 to 100%.

Calling Doctor Tony

Does the meth provide a good cooling effect on hot days?

Minimal, if anything at all. That's the compromise. I can also go 75/25 to capture some cooling.

you don't have to retune for that? or do you already have files for different mixes?

I can drop down to 75/25 with no problem, but have to retune for 50/50.
