Rub, No Rub.. Whats going on?

So I tried on some wheels today. 19x9 and 19x11. PS2 235 & 315 setup for tires. Rears seem to be fine. The issue is the fronts.

The drivers side rubs against this silver thing which seems to be the base where the springs sit on.

The passenger side doesnt have the issue at all. You can put your finger between the tire and the silver thing.

Is the drivers side on installed incorrectly? Or bent? Stock turbo twist roll completely fine. Clue in please..

smaller tires will help

I just wanted to finish off stating the obvious on this thread

some overall pics of the car, wheel size etc, would help. What are your actual tire diameters?

checking diameters, it is .5 inch taller than the 18 inch PS2's that come on this car. However, that does not explain the difference. Do you know if the vehicle was ever crashed, or front suspension damage and replacement? Aside from one wheel having different offset there should be no difference.

I think i figured this out. One of my tires is 9 inches wide side to side and the one rubbing is actually 10 1/2!! Weird.. Ill have to contact the seller.
