Can you post more pic's thinking of ordering one myself spoke to the manufacture yesterday and he claimed to have taken care of any customer complaints.

 

i really wish this worked out, but the guy doesn't stack up well. First, he was very responsive, then when i gave him detailed questions he would not answer any of the important questions stating he was just working on pricing. To this day he just refuses to answer the questions that matter. He skirts them and is less than responsive now.

Questions never answered:
1. timing & availability. only said it takes 3 weeks on boat. not exactly answering the question.
2. if it is guaranteed not to crack or have cracks when it arrives? answer was that it was tested at high speeds.
3. is fitment guaranteed? answer was it comes primed and ready for paint.
4. final pricing & shipping costs. Answer, he'd give me a free one if 10 were ordered. I turned him down and told him to pass the savings to everyone.

to me these are all indicators to run run run away.

But with all that said, i'd love one.

Yllwturbo how long ago did you receive your wing could it have been during his start up phase and maybe now he has is manufacturing procedures down , he offer to ship to me by DHL air fright. I see it as nothing ventured nothing gained and it’s not a large investment to have a wing you want compared to what Tech Art is asking.

 

i got mine 2-3 weeks ago. there is ALOT of work if u want to make it fit. i'm not talking bad about them just telling the truth about the product i ve received. sharing my thoughts with 6speeders. spending 1500-1600 dollars and maybe have to spend another $1000 just to rework not including paint is just not worth IT for me IMO.

Guys,

You have to be prepared for a high percentage of defects with these taiwan carbon fiber products. I was importing the Techart CF wing (copy) for a while and gave up because only 1 out of 5 or 6 wings was actually acceptable to the standards most Porshe owners would expect.

IMO, to re-work and repair this stuff is a PITA and not worth the hassle. You may get lucky, but don't be surprised if the quality is not what you had hoped for...

 

i would leave negative rep on ebay, people need to be made aware of this

yep - i really like the techart wing but quality is very important.

 

i had my friends brother pick it from his business (which is his house) after a bunch of emails. i didnt go through ebay
