I'm in the process of ordering one, I'll write up a review once I have it installed.

 

how much did you end up paying?

 

I'm still negotiating on the price, lol. It's kinda risky because the quality is unkown. it's made in Taiwan.

 

i know i'm thinking the same thing. if you want to try and get two maybe we can get the price to something reasonable.

The alternative is a $1100 glass decklid/gt2 wing or $1500 carbon fiber decklid/wing gt2 which are made here by misha. I know he has good quality, I just like the techart wing better than the gt2.

I am interested in the quality, the 1st wing I bought was a replica TA type 1 and even though its on and I am ok with the look, I wish the fitment/quality was better.

 

I was looking at that as well... maybe 6speed special? lol

I got a response. Here is the current proposal.

$900 shipped to California for five wings with carbon fiber risers and adjust portion. The fiberglass all primed and ready for painting. Wings have been tested at 300kph on road course according to builder. They are from Taiwan, but he claims a quality wing with quality fitment - not a cheap build. The only hiccup at this point, is that he wants to ship to one location in California to save some of the costs. I told him this was unacceptable and that we need multiple locations, so the cost may go up a bit. Let's see how many takers we have. Just let me know if you are in and we'll see the best deal we can get.

I have no knowledge of these wings, nor can i vouch for him. I'm willing to take the chance personally and every one who wants to order will be able to pay directly to him. Regular disclaimer as I do not wish to profit, nor will I derive any benefit... just looking for a nice wing for my car and see if we can leverage some buying power.
