Replaced lights to LEDS

Does anyone know if its possible to replace the stock turn signal bulbs with leds without getting the stupid fast blinking? I bought some pep boys ones that a friend had good luck with and they blink normally when you put on the 4 way flashers, but if you turn on the left or right it does the hyper blinking.

I finally got around to finding a good LED bulb for the tail/brake lamps. Illumination day and night is equal to, if not a tad brighter, then OEM. Purchased from www.autolumination.com
