i heard there was actually a video test of a red gt2, but i cant locate it and there are no stats of it on top gears "cool wall." what gives? Of all the cars to not test, why did they skip the gt2? THey even tested two different versions of the gt3.

Maybe because it's not an easy car for journalists to put their hands on? Haven't seen it tested much ... or at all! Porsche must be keeping a leash on all the GT2s! LOL

Top Gear tested the GT2 in 2001 when first launched and when Tiff Needell worked on Top Gear.

Subsequent to this time Top Gear went to the new studio format, with the lap-test and replaced Tiff Needell with 'the stig'.

Since Top Gear test new cars, they didn't re-test the 'old' GT2. Sadly Porsche GB did not bother having a publicity car for the GT2 Mk2, or promoting it at all, so it was never tested on the 'new' Top Gear.

I downloaded a couple, they are on my office machine, I'll try to upload them to my site tomorrow. The japenese one is not very good, if you're trying to pick one on Racingflix.com. Also, pay the $6 on PayPal for the month, you can cancel the next day and still get your months worth (you do not get the $6 back). It changes download speeds from 3kbps to 200k. Way worth it.
