get the codes read ASAP...suggest not to drive it until you do so (flashing cel is not good).

Cel

This sounds pretty serious, whenever the cel blinks then it is damaging to the cats. The most likely cause of this light is either improper spark plugs for the power or old spark plugs that need to be changed.

As was said, don't boost it, until you scan it...blinking CEL is not a "check it when I can" light.

Marksi,
Nik told me to use the orange O rings that you took off of his car when you pulled the intercoolers off, but my local shop had already used the green ones that came with the new boost hoses that came with the new boost hoses that i got from Vivid.
do you think that could be the problem ?

thank you,
Brian

A blinking CEL means "I am misfiring NOW". That is why the bucking is happening also. I think that your spark plugs were at their end of life and putting on the bigger intercoolers aloud more air in which made your car misfire. More boost = harder to spark. A simple spark plug change should cure it. (For now at least)

I wouldn't chance It even if its really close to where you live.unless you can drive the car without making the light flash.

If it runs and drive fine, go for it...If it were my car and I could drive it safely, without stalling etc... I would drive it to the shop, (NEVER BOOSTING IT!!)

There you go...drive it to the shop using NO boost and you should be fine. It is probably MAJOR misfires due to the extra amount of air you can now push in. Blowing the fire out, as they say...
