Z06 vs GT2 (Original, I know:)
Was coming home on the Mexican 59 (don't know what it is about this part of Mexico....here is the write up from my last trip there: SC Mustang vs GT2 
). Was cruising at a comfortable 85 mph when a rather melanky looking Pontiac started to ride my ***. I am sure that he and his passenger just wanted to get a better view of what it said on the back of my car, no doubt.
I moved inward (this Mexican 50 has 5 lanes) and let him pass by. I then noticed that a shiney new red Z06 was coming up. Traffic was thining so I moved to the far left lane, shifted down to 4th and put about 15 lengths on Mr Pontiac by the time I hit 140. I shut her down and noticed that Mr Z06 was closing fast. As I was on pump at 1.1 bars (the new Z06's run a 7.8 60-130, not far behind the 7.1 I ran on pump) I relished a roll on.
I was in 4th doing 90 when the front end of the Vette was even w/ the back of my car and slammed the peddle down. We were even for a brief moment but by 130 I was over 3 lengths up and by 150 I was 5 lengths ahead.

And there was a Zebra in front of him and a unicorn behind him. He tried to catch the Zebra until they kicked his drunk a$$ off the Merry Go Round.

When we went I was on 1 gallon of race to to 2 gallons of pump. I started at 1.2 and then at the end bumped up to 1.3, so you should have an idea of how you would do.
On race (OK, that sissy unleaded 109 that is sort of race gas) at 1.4 you would crush him. Pump to pump you should pull moderately but steadily. Stock Z06's are quite fast off the showroom floor.
