I got my car back today from BBI today. It was in for an oil change and some new BBI coil-packs.

Finally got my dyno done to baseline, and what a surprise I got. I had put EVOMS diverter valves on it when I 1st got it, threw some tire and wheels on, GT3 UMW LWFW and clutch when my throwout bearing exploded, and the thing ran great!

I never saw more than .7 bar with what I had.

I decide to get an exhaust, speedtech 70mm, which made it sound real nice. I started running a 100 Octane fuel, and then I started seeing 1.0 bar. Man I was surprised to see that.

Well to the dyno. Thinking hopefully 360HP would be nice, and BAM 407HP to the wheels .

I did not think this was possible. Can you believe that?

No flash? AWD? Stock Turbos?

 

No flash, AWD-yes, Stock turbos-yes!

I am going to have BBi check the file on it, just to make sure, but I have done nothing else to this car. I have also had it in the shop at Porsche Dealership, and no issues either.

 

What type of dyno were you using? I would guess a dynojet. I cant recall a car with just an exhaust going over 400whp. It is possible someone flashed the car before you got it so its wise to look at the file it running.
Regardless, great numbers! Iam sure it is a blast to drive!!

Why did I not see 1 bar before the exhaust and 100? Only .7

 

You probably have K16 turbos with a flash. Can you post your graph? Did he put the car on dyno dynamics? Which most probably is yes...that's what he uses all the time...that is insane power BTW. Add another 60-70HP for dynojet results, your car actually makes 550 crank HP. Congrats!!!

 

I'd say something is wrong. Maybe even a loose wastegate hose?

You should be jumping up and down, it's dyno dynamics.

 

It was Dyno Dynamics. This dyno is super conservative. On my personal 996TT, I got 645 on Evom's Mustang, and i only got 585 on this Dyna Dynamics.

Since he is only seeing .7 bar of boost it seems unlikely he has a flash. He is also on stock k16's.

Must be those special BBI Coilpacks. (Writeup/Release of this product news coming soon)

Betim said they only got 6HP to the wheels with the coil packs, but they saw 15HP on another car. I was thinking my exhaust was a little more restrictive than what they currently run.

 

I think he mentioned holding 1.0 bar? Lookwing forward to hear about the coil packs as well.
