Thats what I thought. The coolant poored out like a hose came off, the is no oil in the coolant either. I will be going to the shop today and my shop will pressurize the system so I can see where the HG shifted.

What kind of Studs did you have on that? ARP? Does not make sense, 1.6 is not even enough to lift them with good studs.

Brake boosting to built boost ?

What is the list of mods and what is weight of this car.

Hate to hear about your coolant leaks, that is not good!

It is an EPL Tippy car. I believe he said he did brake boost, but THEN downshifted to 1st? Maybe it overevved and overpressurized and blew stuff apart...

Just wondering what measurements they took as far as re-torquing like Tony said and what they also did to prevent horizontal movement. Where are you gonna have the work done? Hopfeully someone reputable. GL

Nearly 100% of the time, studs that that haven't been properly installed, torqued, and retourqued again will result in lifted or shifted heads....even if the manufacture instructions state that there is no need for re torquing.
