60-130 with a surprise.
Jaggs, you are kidding right?Everyone and their mother was and is still selling them too.Evoms tested them INDEPENDENTLY ON THEIR OWN DIME after not being satisfied with them for the power levels we were trying to get to with my car....this is how progress is made and they decided to build and test their own that have double the clamping force. Evoms was the first to run 12mm studs on a 996 turbo in a real world racing environment too.So when a automaker comes out with a new(better) version of the same car all the people with the old model are suppose to cry foul?It is development plain and simple.I am sorry for your misfortune

Same hose on JohnD's car as well. It looks like its going to start being a more common failure as these cars age.
Vince - Take a picture and post so the rest of the forum can see where the hose is.
Good news! just spoke to him. Its the pipe which holds the hose which popped out...wonder how a press fitted part can pop out that way.. whatever it is ...its all good. Btw,..his driveshafts need to be replaced as well.
That is exactly what happened to my car last year with abour 85,000 miles of usage, while cruising lightly - no hard launch. You could tell the pressed fitting was moving around (but not leaking) for quite some time before it let go from wear marks on the fitting. Probably a weak press fit from the factory. If anyone has their motor out, I would check for this by tugging and twisting on these fittings, as it is very costly to repair from a labor standpoint...
After seeing what a hose problem is like, I repaced all hoses on the car at this point, while the motor was out. I would advise you consider this as well, as the hoses are cheap - it's the labor to do this when the motor is in the car that is expensive...
Here is a picture showing why this is a difficult repair. One press fitting is tight as can be and the other has popped out of the oil cooler

Yeah this has turned into a much bigger project,
I have to replace that manifold but also doing the following:
-changing all hoses
-changing water pump
-changing all belt tensioners and pullies
-reinstalling injectors
-change all coolant lines
-changing coolant resivoir
-upgrading tq converter
-installing new transmission mounts
-installing new engine mounts
-changing ATF
-installing transcooler
-installing ATF temp gauge
-installing new coolant thermostat
-changeing driveshaft
-installing custom rear inlets
Im going to be so broke after this, but she better run right!!!

I am familiar with most of these other repairs, as well. I had to replace CV joints, trans mounts, and front drive shaft due to cracked rubber couplers. I believe this "wear and tear" is directly related to 1/4 mile track days...
