60-130 with a surprise.
Man this sucks, who would have known a well known product like ARP fails and the strength is same as stock studs.
Vince , have the shop look at the HG you had the same condition.

All you can hope at this point is there is no further damage to rods, cylinder heads due to coolant enetring the chamber causing hydrolock.

Jaggs, you are kidding right?Everyone and their mother was and is still selling them too.Evoms tested them INDEPENDENTLY ON THEIR OWN DIME after not being satisfied with them for the power levels we were trying to get to with my car....this is how progress is made and they decided to build and test their own that have double the clamping force. Evoms was the first to run 12mm studs on a 996 turbo in a real world racing environment too.So when a automaker comes out with a new(better) version of the same car all the people with the old model are suppose to cry foul?It is development plain and simple.I am sorry for your misfortune

No Joe Im not kidding. If Im in the business of modifying cars and I create a kit to strengthen a engine to handle xxx amount of power, then I will and would have to know that all the parts Im piecing together will actually strengthen the motor. Kudos to EVOMS for testing the ARP studs, but they and all othe companies should do this before selling this engine strengthing kit.

I didn't say they weren't good for your power level I said they were not much better than stock. We have seen many cars run these studs(ARP) to 800 rhp or more so I wouldn't go blaming the studs .You know as well as i do that there are many possibilities for a leaking head gasket.I just said they were not up to the task for my motor.Do you know for sure you have a blown gasket?
Did you just see my pictures Joe - it looks like the HG is shredded.
I called that one when he called me...
happened to me as well.
