Tom... You had an original set. Bob had some issues, we corrected them. I wish we could have dialed them for you, but at that time and schedule for your car, it was not possible. We are on our 3rd batch here which have evolved with us. They fit great!

The Agency Power intercoolers are a great fit on the 996TT. Like all thicker core intercoolers, you must modify the plastic housing. Because the core is thicker, the factory clips will not clip together. The labor time is about 7 hours which includes the removal of the rear bumper, intercoolers, shroud, modifications, and reinstall. The hose connections fit our factory or aftermarket boost hoses. See install pics here -

I am quoting what book rate is. I am sure your local installation center might charge differently.

Jason. is infamous around these parts
I vote for Switzer's intercooler, although it may be a little over kill unless you plan to make big power in the future but it features a good quality core and a nice endtank design . 2nd choice would be EVOMS.

IMHO, it maybe overkill on the street, but if you track your car, the track temp is probably a bit higher than on the street, and you are really taxing the cooling system, you get into issues with heat soak etc... so it seems it would excel on the track vs a smaller cooler.

Now thats amazing, but it seems EVOMS and AWE both have a good plug and play product, except they are both kinda pricey North of 2K, without labor installation

RichardCH - I think I have your solution I have not seen a picture of the AWE or EVOMS installed. If anyone has them, please post them. If the core is thicker, you must modified the plastic housing.

So Dan how Thick/Deep are yours vs OEM please ? If AWE & Evoms are genuinely plug and play, yours must be significantly different no ???
