Project Ghetto Boost Gauge... NO MORE
Project Ghetto Boost Gauge... NO MORE
Stephen sent out one of his trick units that has been modified to fit into the batwing (very cool btw) and after locating a wiring harness (to hook up to the unused phone connector) from a local boxster owner, my wife got out her crimpers, wire cutters, hair dryer etc.. and went to work on it. The end result is a high quality boost gauge (in PSI woo woo), which upon reflection I have to say reads different to stock. Not only is the stock one laggy but it's off by a couple of PSI here and there. Either way, thanks Stephen.
I'll post some pictures of the finished install (I know Stephen posted some too a while back). Once I pop out the rear panels and run my vacum/boost hoose inside the car as opposed to outside with duct-tape
Once again, I'm not sure if Stephen is going to make many of these but they're very trick.
PS Only thing I didn't do was wire it to the "DIM" (not sure where to tap in anyways) so it stays bright at night as well. To be honest, I prefer it not dim anyways...
