Will a Flash dramatically shorten my clutches life?

Yes, but it will lengthen your smile.
Seriously it depends on your driving style. If you get on it too hard in the lower gears and launch the car hard then your clutch won't last 1k miles. But if you get on the speed more gradually it shouldn't make a dramatic difference.
Tony/EPL did my flash and the car is amazing, smooth, great pull and noticably much faster. You will love it. Good luck.

With the torque Tony's tune is making and how fun it is to drive, you will probably need one sooner than later. Mine was fine until EPL. I don't know how it was driven before I got it, but I am sure the tune and my foot didn't help!

How much is does a clutch replacement typically run and is there a better upgraded clutch to replace it with. I am still breaking the car in and don't want to flash until the CPO warranty is gone so I have not looked at it at all. I am going to get a flash the day it is up though .. LOL .. so want to kind of know what to expect.

The ECU isn't controlling the clutch engagement. Your release of the clutch pedal controls clutch engagement and disengagement.
