There´s been a thread about it on Rennteam. Both the owner/driver and the tuner telling everyone how they don´t know anything about cars, that an M3 with 480 HP is easily capable of besting the 612 HP Carrera GT and the 650 HP Gemballa. And then the Genius boys go on to say how the time was not achieved on slicks, but on Michelin Pilot Sport Cups. And they don´t even seem to realize that the tyre is a semi-slick. Sometimes I wonder why Americans are considered dumber than Europeans...

worse still, they finally admitted it was an "estimated" vs. "timed" run that got them to the CGT matching time in their lessered powered 3 series BMW sedan!

A good estimate IMO would be around 7:45-7:47, that´s what two very respected posters from Rennteam and Rennlost believe.

its only like 150kg (max) if that less than the weight off a stock M3. i suppose its a decent sized weight drop. dad and myself took one for a tesdrive, what an amazing car. and the sound, ohh the sound!!!!

And why wouldn't they?

They make all the multi-piece bling wheels so popular here look like shiny bricks.

HRE, Fikse, Kinesis can't touch the strength and weight combo of the forged, lightweight single-piece wheels from the Land of the Rising Sun.
