Brembo Le Mans Racing Brakes with Titanium Pistons

BeastPower carries the Brembo Le Mans racing brakes for the 996. These are approximately 12 pounds lighter per corner than the regular Brembo Gran Turismo kit. Those 12 pounds translate into significant performance gains due to the reduction in unsprung weight. These brakes retail at $12,500 for a 4-wheel setup. BeastPower now has exclusive pricing for 6speedonline.com members. If anyone is interested, please contact BeastPower at 650-903-2204 or via e-mail at: beastpower@beastpower.com.

Here is a photo and specifications:

- Front Brakes: 15" (380mm) rotors with 8 pistons.
- Rear Brakes: 12.9" (328mm) rotors with 4 pistons.

The Brembo® Le Mans “Race” 4-wheel kit for the Porsche 996 is designed and built with the highest level of components available. Billet monobloc calipers are built to be extremely lightweight and flex free. Titanium piston inserts add to the lightweight construction to offer smooth and quick modulation with great protection from heat transfering to the brake fluid. Billet aluminum Hats with Brembo® “float” bushings allow the type 3 angle-slotted race rotor to seek its true centerline for consistent braking performance. Floating rotor design reduces heat and stress transfer to wheel bearings and hubs and greatly reduces unsprung weight. The unsprung weight on the 996 is reduced by 12 pounds per corner from the light-weight Brembo® Gran Turismo big brake kit for the 996. The unsprung weight savings translates into the equivalent of reducing the 996's weight by approximately 100 pounds, and provides for better handling, quicker response and better acceleration. This kit works with the standard master cylinder and doesn’t affect ABS. The kit comes with Ferodo 2500 brake pads. This is the best brake kit in the world!

Specifications:
- Billet Aluminum Monobloc Calipers With - Titanium Piston Inserts
- Type 3 Angled-Slotted (photo above shows regular slotted) Lightweight Motorsport Discs
- Lightweight Billet Aluminum Hats With
- McLaren F1 Floating Hardware
- High Performance Ferodo 2500 Track Brake Pads
- Goodridge® Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines
- Aircraft Quality Mounting Brackets and Hardware

Cheers.

The deal is so sweet that you won't believe it when I tell you - a PM is on the way.

There is a less expensive version for 18" wheels which retails at $10,000:

- Front Brakes: 14" (355mm) rotors with 4 pistons.
- Rear Brakes: 12.9" (328mm) rotors with 4 pistons.

I can provide similarily attractive pricing on these sizes.

Cheers.
