Good Extended Warranty Companies?

Looking to get extended warranty for my 01tt. Which companies do any of you have experience with and which would you recommend? Thanks!

Total Protection Plan

I have the supreme package from Total Protection Plan and so far it has paid off for me. I paid about $3K for 3 yrs. I believe you can only buy this thru the dealership. Good luck

For your 996tt, go with Easycare Warranty. Nuff said.

So I was stuck with Fidelity which a local Porsche dealer offered. I was bummed when they told me I could not warranty the clutch accumulator ;-( and I'm on the platinum plan !

In CA, I had Total Shield. Paid for itself just in labor in the couple years I had my car. Then when I sold the car, I got the remaining portion reimbursed to me.

I dealt with a guy named Brian (562) 458-8197. Tell him you got his number off of 6speed. He likes us.

I've had an easycare plan that covers me for 7 years starting 2006 when I bought it. It covers my 02 until 2013 which is pretty insane. They have paid 3 claims so far with zero issues. $100 deduct. They cover almost everything and have been easy to deal with.

Same deal here for me too.

If it's any consolation, Fidelity Warranty Services is owned by JM Enterprises with revenue of $10 billion/year. They are the largest distributor for Toyota/Scion and largest volume Lexus dealer among all things.

It probably depends on the dealer. Before I bought mine, I asked the SA if the ECU tune or K&N would void warranty coverage and he said absolutely not.

He could be blowing smoke up my *** in order to sell me an extended warranty, but I understand that my local dealer is somewhat mod friendly and fair.
