Can a STOCK 996TT Motor Put Down 800-900RWHP?
Can a STOCK, unbuilt, stock internals 996TT motor put down 800-900RWHP? This weekend I saw TurboMike’s stock motor put down 720.6RWHP with Comp Turbos on pump 91+Methanol and the top down
. After seeing this happen I was thinking how high could you go with an unbuilt motor? Maybe a few of you guys were thinking the same thing or to those who have done it… How and with what Turbos, intake setup, race fuel, tune, etc… I really wanna know.

I'm willing to find out
Made 715rwhp on K24/18G with a bit more on the table in terms of timing (standalone +c16). Gonna keep tweaking her and maybe throw a little shot on it before going to bigger turbos. Not bad for a 66k mile beat to **** engine.
(Not just a dyno queen, going to run her in Mile Marker -1 with all I can get out of the 24/18Gs)

I would also like to know....however I am personally not willing to risk my engine. I am not going much over 700 (I should be about there once I get my new intake set up, although a generous dyno might put me well past 700..the REAL test is the 60-130, IMO).
There are several people running over 700 on a stock block w/ the proper tune and fueling, and as long as they are responsible with the type of gas they use and their boost level we will not likely see an engine pop....maybe.
If it were 5 years ago, I was unmarried, w/ out children and still making a killing in real estate I would be willing to risk 35K to find out. Until then, I will sit back and let someone else run the experiment

Nice subject Sid and great video
I know what that number translates to on different dynos as well
Let's just say a brand new ZR1 on this same day only made 515rwhp, yes a very heart breaking dyno. I've been on it many times!!

How do you like the HP curve on my turbos? Look at 5K ,6K, and 7K( still climbing)...
Peak numbers are great but that is not the whole story...
BTW, nothing to take away from dyno above... just showing that it can be done... granted not on meth injection nor at 26 psi... ( I would never do that in a stock block).
This is very doable for an affordable price.

and Bobby's car at 1.4 on 104 Unleaded

a bit shaky
...
Which bigger turbos would you use to cross that 800 threshold?
Are they all still running hard?
Hey, thanks what is it on other dynos?
...I'm willing to find out
