Pahrump Video

Just got around to posting this video from a recent track day on October 23rd. The video is just one lap from my in-car camera while following my buddy's Vette.

Pahrump, Nevada is a fun track and pretty easy to drive. I would consider it a great track for beginners to learn on. There are virtually no elevation changes. The new owner (who owns the company that makes those Radicals) has some big plans for the track though. He's adding a bunch of miles and configurations to the track and he's going to improve the facility big time. It'll be worth checking out.

I've been there myself. Not much to run into should you have an "off-track excursion" although I did get to watch someone put their new Z06 into one of the few trees out there.

I don't know if it was technically a tree but it was a desert plant large enought to nearly destroy the front end of his Z06. The funny part was that he had been at that track at an earlier event and blew the engine at that one.

Edit: Apparently, they were Yukka plants:http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showt...hlight=pahrump

I believe it is about picture number 24.
