GT700 shutting off
SubscribeI have had this issue since I purchased the car. It has the Evoms gt700 package. Evomsit software was recently re-flashed , brand new fuel pump, hitachi maf conversion, spark, coils and the car just shuts off after 5 mins of hard acceleration. It restarts right back up with no problems??
The only code from durametric is 33 interior sensor faulty. Really no other codes.
I don't know what else to check for??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Dead!! Then starts right back up!!
Can it be electrical short? Someone told me ignition switch but I'm not sold!!

Do some data logging with durametric...there are lots of possibilities and with your package, lots of opportunities...

you realize that it should not, right? was your car tuned with the lwfw or installed after tuning?
Does your car die while you're accelerating hard or is this something that happens when you're idling?

it dies when you let off the gas right or put it in neutral right?Originally Posted by 911GT700

It's very erratic. It has shut off on the freeway doing 80 and in bumper to bumper traffic on the 405Originally Posted by ReeknHavic

Recently if I drive it hard within 5 min and coming to a stop it dies not in neutral. I've been in 2nd,3rd, you get the idea

I really thought it was the fuel pump but guess not!!

Wow, I was hoping it was the fuel pump. Been following your Renntech thread over there on this as my 2001 is doing the same thing. I got to pull the codes with the Durametric right after it died in the driveway the last time without turning the key off. Got faults on the imobilizer. Thinking back on every time it happened, it was always a day after I washed it. I also have an aftermarket stereo. I'm doing the complete wiring check next.
Mine has LWFW, but as OP's case, engine dies under load, lifting on the the throttle, just sitting in driveway idling, just about any time. Hasn't happenede in about 3 weeks.
