some early mile results
Just wanted to throw out an olive branch to whom ever I have offended. I truly never ment to sound arrogant or to put anyone down in anyway. The reason I brought my car to the mile was to show case it off in the "Back it Up". There will be video up soon and I will allow you guys to make judgements on my car. It was a great weekend weather wise and it was nice to meet everyone.
Until next year

Well it was an interesting event to say the least. Damn near everyone was first class from 6speed
It really does help to put a face to a name, it is just going to be so hard to be a dick to you guys now...Topgun excluded( more on that later in the post)
....
TX clearly lived up to its rep as a no BS state, the mile was an exhilirating experience and a humbling one as well. For the first time in a long time the cars talked louder than the hype, and that was a good thing.
To the HTown crew, you are a classy bunch. Peter, Todd, Ben, Chris Paulie( you are the only one who looked like I expected BTW...Walnuts thru and thru
) Mike from CT was great. Art , you seem like a humble ,down to earth guy
.... Eric and Marty were great... Changing gears now, the ****** from Brooklyn, Topgun.....
I officially ask you to relieve yourself of the position of Joe's handmaiden so that I may now, officially, become the EVOMS *****. I grovel at you greatness and tremble at the sound of your name. I am man enough to admit the defeat at your hands was swift, unequivocal and so thorough that even I, KPG, the purveyor of quality wit and biting sarcasm for the 6 do hereby admit I have no good material for this situation. My first reaction was to claim I missed a gear, nah, DocRob has patented that excuse besides there is no way to claim I missed gears on 12 runs. I could have sworn I would have kicked your butt if it wasnt for the valve spring, damn, VR beat me to that excuse
. This leaves me with little atlternatives to spin this situation other than to say....Damn, I opened up some serious whoop a$$ on those Mustangs
.... Its all good, there are no hard feelings.. Thanks for the great time!

I heard about Joe's story and Todd's on the way to Goliad and my heart dropped for a second or two. Got a call from home,my wife saying your daughter broke her arm at school and I said what??? Here is how it all started. My hat is off to anyone that goes above these speed limits, now that my ball sacks are no longer there. It will grow in a few months or so I hope. Thanks to all Houstonians for their support, loved Texas and hope to make it again but with thicker diapers this time
Yes,my car went 224 decellerating(I got out of it due to the heavy cross winds on Fri)as I crossed the mile.I was at 230.7 at 4360 ft mark(no bull!!I will post the driftbox file as soon as I can get it uploaded) with 920 ft of track left.It ran 14.3 sec to 186 mph(300km) with a tire burning 1/8 mile.
The new setup Evoms put together for me is on a totally different level than my previous mile setup.I am going to overlay the driftbox file over my previous mile run so everyone can see how dramatically faster the car is now.

Congrats Joe! Your car is mean and I can't wait to see what it will do with the proper suspension on it in March. Nice meeting you and we'll see you next time.
what was sw's best mile speed?
We only ran the car one pass and we hit 243 on a shakedown. This was however enough to be fastest of the weekend. We noticed a small noise from the valvetrain Saturday morning and decided we would hold off on the 250mph pass for March
We have plenty of footage and will be compiling it soon.

Congrats on your times
Robert
Congrats on fastest of the weekend.
My friends team's bike ran 259.9mph (may have been 259.7) and they only were only 40% throttle till about a 1/2 mile. You've got to have ***** of steel to ride something like that!
Yes, I lost the first race to the Lexus. I did miss shift and that was enough to loose the race. There will be a video of that race and if you watch it I think you will see that I had 2 to 3 car lengths on Lexus. But non the less I lost the race. I do not know the outcome of the race today because I had to come back to Houston. Back it up wanted to keep the car there and use it in their filming of this event. Apparently the cars bluey raced was the black Lambo and the white Mustang both making over 1200 RWHP. If you see the video which I have not, my car apparently beat both of them.
Cheers
