P-box data for joetwint's TX Mile run...

Hey guys,

So here are the details of Joe's best TX Mile run this weekend.

In a nutshell; at around 4,900 ft he hit 230 mph, his sunroof caved in, his car gets squirrely and he immediately lets off the throttle. He then pulls his chute...and that's the end of the run.

Here are the specific P-box measurements:

Peak mph (before roof cave in): 230
Mph at the mile mark (after roof cave in): 222
1/4 mile: 10.82 @ 151
0-300 kph (186.41 mph): 14.41
60-130: 5.02
100-150: 3.82

Great job, Joe!!

That is amazing time -even more so with problems!
How long did it take from 100 to 200 kmh and then 200-300 kmh?
Not to much to argue about with this dyno!

very nice work...

That is what I call a well prepped car.... and if someone thinks they can just show up and run 220 then they must be smoking something funny...

I am first to admit this event is not for me...

Sunroof caved in? At peak speed that would terrifying. Must be some serious forces at work, to cause that.

Just to point out the obvious: The 5.02 60 to 130 was on a run not dedicated to that purpose.

Car would probably run under 4.5 if purpose driven for a 60-130. Any chance of doing so, Joe?

Nice Joe. I'm going to get Kevin or Scott my file today hopefully so we can overlay all the P-Cars that ran the mile. Will be an interesting comparison. That 0-186 is nuts bro.

Uh, Scott, you forgot one part of what happened. Sun Roof caved in, car got squirrely then Joe wet his pants and pulled the chute.

seriously, I was extrapolating his acceleration curve and if you extend it out and account for drag reducing the icline of the cuve a bit he would have been in the mid to hgih 240's
