Dont be scared man! Rain is not going to hurt it, just get it washed when you are done.

I know this is is crazy, but I actually park mine outside and drive it in the rain all the time.

Good tires (like PS2's) and do not touch PSM, and rain is GOOD !

You can go 170 mph plus in the rain, no problemo *

driving mine in the rain all the time its not much fun in 1st or second cause no traction but other then that its fine. its a car not a fragile flower you bought it to drive it right?

then again this comes from someone who only dreamed as an adolescent about super cars and ive put almost 9k miles on my car in 2months =) cruising the USA and touring the lovely hwy 101 up cali to washington

These cars are a blast in the rain when driven hard and very safe with the AWD / PSM. Although I don't look forward to cleaning it after driving in the rain, I often look forward to the experience of less traction and the resulting abundant tire spin on a rainy day.

I live in a pretty rainy area and sometimes am caught out in it, or at least damp roads. The 996TT (mine is on Sumitomos) is incredibly planted and stable in the wet, and I've never had any dramatic moments. Keep in mind that I'm generally not trying to tempt fate or anything like that, but it's a great car in the rain from my experience. The downside is obviously having to clean it!
