I found an 03 Turbo with 39k miles, one owner. Sticker was $130k, boxster red interior, sports seats, very clean!!!! Had the ecu flash, new upgraded clutch, new tires, 30k miles service done 6 months ago, one owner, 3m clear bra. He wants mid to high 40's and i am offering $39-$40k since there isnt any warranty and cant get CPO. I think i can get the records but i will still get the PPI
My questions:
For the over revs Type I and Type II what is the number that can be consider normal?
Does anyone from here know this car? NJ Plate:996TRBO
What is fair price for the PPI?
What is a fair price for the car and what would be consider a bargain?

WOW that is very red interior.... The price doesn't sound to bad... Get it inspected! I only have 25K on my 03. I am no expert but would ask why the clutch was replaced already. Who did the work? Run the VIN at the dealer. Get those records. If you can get it for 39K that's probably a pretty good price. I suspect the seller won't let it go for that. I paid 49K a year ago for my 03 with 19K miles and a warranty.... Just me, but I don't think I could handle the Red.......

 

god I hate these threads. I say all sellers bump their prices and force buyers to ante up to a reasonable level to get this supercar.

Yeah I know the owner. I know it never had any over revs. Car is mint never any accident oil change change every 4000 miles, Always serviced on time, no accidents no marks, car is perfect. Work done by Powertech. Clutch was replaced because it had the Upsolute chip. New tires and battery. The car is a steal.

 

I would never sell mine for that.

Clutch at 30K is very normal especially with a flash.

I'm keeping mine forever.

 

Oh Yeah I know the car has never been tracked just a multi concourse winner. never thought he would sell that car but a great opportunity came along. He also has an 89 930 turbo cab with 20,000 miles on it.

 

Sorry, but I hope you can't buy an '03 for 39k. That's a $50k car.

 

Petros you will never find a better car for the price. If you do not grab it you are making a mistake.

 

I am really starting to hate these threads now. Car is easily worth mid to high 40's...$39k is just sad...I OWE more than you can get this car for...I paid 55k for mine last year!

 

yup only 1300 2003's were sold in the us, it is worth much more than that price and I seriously hope the seller sees this thread.

 

Paid $ 50k for mine back in Sept. Same year, mileage, one owner and CPO. I was happy with the price - these are truly great cars for the money.
