Question Wheel Spacers and Lug Bolts.

I have an 03 Turbo. The 1st thing I am looking to do is move my rear tires and wheels out 3/4 of an inch so they line up at the edge of the fender flairs. I found some 21mm spacers but I can't find lug bolts. Does any one know of a company that I can purchase long enough lug bolts for these spacers to work or do I need to go another route to get my wheels and tires pushed out that far. Any advice will be appreciated.

Also try Damon at Tire Rack. I got them from him - excellent service!

you need 45m stock + 21mm spacer width = 67mm (68mm is close enough) wheel bolts

you will need to roll the rear fenders to fit that spacer

21mm is alot......if you are running OE twists......might want to see pics of that.
....and, some will have opin to use stud bolt on spacers when you are 20+ or whatever....some not.....just my $.02

Good luck.

As the resident offset expert I'll defer to you. I can tell you this. I used 15mm spacers all around before rolling the fenders. Rolling the fenders easily opens up more than 10mm. I really think he'll be OK.

Let us know how it goes!

Ari,

it does stick out does it not ? Hence i wanted to get rid of the 21 mm that we traded...i track my car at the road course often, that if i would have added the 21mm spacer it would have taken my rear qrt panel off !

Honestly don't know since I haven't tried it yet.

These are the stock TT twist offsets

Front = 50mm
Rear = 45mm - 21mm = 24mm offset. Techart 11" rims come in 25mm offset stock. I think it will fit perfectly under the fenders if you roll them.

I ran 21mm RUF spacers on my 996TT for a very long time. I had to in order to keep my BBS wheels from rubbing my aftermarket I/C piping.

Anyway, I rolled the fenders before install, and never had rubbing issues after they were on.

Here's before and after shots:

Nobody said anything about 335s I'm talking about 295... Remember STOCK wheels and tires

Links, have you rolled yoru fenders? I think you have another 7mm in there :0

That said, I'm running 15mm spacers on my 11.5" Champions running 315/25-19s with zero rubbing and without any aggresive rear camber. Trying to make the rears last as long as possible. I'm spinning them everyday when I squeeze the throttle as is

LiNks pics are helpful......I usually trust pics before my math.....and ari is right, what rubber does matter (sometimes even between needing fender prep and not).
I know these pics have been up many times.....old and car has changed but.....this is 14mm all around with 225 and 295 Sport Cups.

Suspension and neg camber are the last variables......dropped in this case does require fender prep.....for whatever that's worth.

What have you been running 335's on (wheel width)?

I have been wanting to try 315 30 18 Nitto NT01's on my OEM twists for the track but have been worried about rubbing (inside) and what the extra rubber width would be like on those rims. So far I have used OEM size Toyo R888 and Yoko A048's, I have some MPSC's going on next to see how they compare.
