Looks great! See you tomorrow. I'm almost afraid to drive it with 142 more HP and the new clutch setup. Thanks again Todd, Steve and Dan for all of your guidance during this adventure.

Heading out to the airport now to fly to Houston to pick it up. After the 500 mile initial break in, what kind of performance increase do you think I should expect? I'm not a track guy, just a "pull it out on the weekend" kind of driver but I ordered a P box just to monitor what it's capable of. Will update you all when I get back tomorrow. Just a coincidence, but Lubbock is that magical 500 mile breakin distance from Houston!

I can't wait to hear your impression after such an extensive amount of work. Man than 500 miles drive at breakin' speed is gonna be a looooong teaser
I can safely say this will be the nicest Porsche in Lubbock !

Just made it to DFW to stay with my brother for the night. Heading home tomorrow am. Can't really push it right now except every so often but a few observations. The lwfw does make some noise but it's not bad. The clutch combined with it isn't that hard at all to get used to. We had so many things changed at once it's difficult to decide what's impacting what. The 997 SSK is absolutely fantastic. A must have for the 996 tt. With the carbon fiber box and 3" pipes everywhere, I can actually hear the DV's (or I think that's what it is). They sound like a very muffled hoot owl when I really push it and then let off. It's kind of interesting sound but you've got to really listen closely. I'll report on power later when we get home. I'd like to thank Todd, Dan and Steve on all their hard work/planning and especially my son, Nick, who did all the dreaming of what the car could be... Lastly, I was very impressed with dallassteeringwheel's Don Le, who I met today when I dropped off the core wheel. He will turn it into another work of art for a 6 speed member. Now the Recaros and carbon pkg. Talk to you all soon!
