Norcal Guys: Drag Strip This Saturday...

OK boys/girls, some of you moaned at me (rightly so) for not tellin' ya in advance about the drag strip... So weather permitting James and I are going to have another crack at it WITH the right gas diz time

We'll be leaving early in the morning on Saturday 9:30-10am from the shop (www.akkuratpgi.com) so if you want to have a go, tag along or boo me all the way down the strip then I'm letting you guys know.

We'll see where we're at by then

Alex,

Anyway to rent out the track for a group event. This way we can just have us Porsche guys racing. I admit is was fun seeing all the other cars but I think it would be fun just to have our own group.

thanks
fred

Yeps let's try to organize something for the future.... This weekend's mission is to try and run 10s

Just to answer some of your guys' questions. I'm running exactly the same Toyo tires as used in the shoot out. I wanted to use the same ones just to get an idea I can do consistent 1.75 60 foots with them but I'm not ready for drag radials yet. Don't want to break anything...

Sharkster,

Do you remember my 60 foot times about two years ago @ Infineron with 100+ degree temps and a head wind?

Chad I can't wait to see that beast in action again! I have to stay out of Rob's shop so I don't get bitten by the same bug that got you. I think I found a pretty good antidote though.

Mix 1 part house with 2 parts girl (1 wife/1 girlfriend). Shake wallet till empty and presto, no more mod bug!

Heya Collin put your loyalties to the CAR lol...

Well we'll leave at 9:30 and the track closes at 4pm but I _hope_ we'll be doing a 10 second pass before then Hope...

So it takes a couple of hours in the trailor. 1h 45m by car so you could be back by 5 or so.
