Suspension upgrade DIY - difficulty?

Quick question - how much work/how difficult is it to upgrade the following on our cars? say on a scale of 1-10, where 1 is oil change and 10 is engine rebuild

1. sway bar / drop links
2. rear upper control arms
3. front lower control arms
4. rear toe link

I've called up 4 Japanese shops here who refused to work with parts I bring in (because they want to sell me H&R sways for $1000... I'm not kidding). If it's easy enough I'll probably just do the installation myself and take it in for alignment/corner balance ...

Thanks.

Ron

sways and drop links are easy adjustable control arms are harder but not too bad if you measure stock length n match it up when u put it in.

Sways and links are very easy if you have a jack/stands or a ramp.

I know someone over there who might be able to help although I think he might be out to sea right now. He has a garage at least and does a great deal of his own work on Subbies and a sweet GTR - he's a good guy. He might know a shop that's more reasonable as well and he's all about NOT spending stupid money. If you're interested PM me and I will see if I can make the intro. He's all about having fun and going fast without mortgaging the house

You speak of Ryan (I hope)? If so, definitely someone to see if he can help you out.
