GT2 Suspension options?

I am having trouble finding exactly what options there are for the 996 GT2.

So far I can see that the following is available:

KW V3
Moton

Any others?

PSS10?
H&R?
JIC?
any others?

Has anyone here moved to an aftermarket setup?

The car for me is a road trip car with 4-5 track days per year.

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat for next year. I've been buying my suspension in pieces. I already have ERP rear dog bones, F/R toe links.
To follow would be the Gt3 cup control arms w/mono ball bushings and thrust arm bushings. F/R sway bars with links.

As for Coilovers I was looking into either the KW v3's or JRZ's. As you, I will probably do a handfull of events a year.

Would like to know how the KW's do at the track compaired to say the JRZ/Motons..

Gents happy to help with any questions.

Our GT2 has the full World Challenge suspension set up and the basis is revalved Moton Club Sports.

Feel free to drop me an email.

Something we did develop for the GT2 were sway bars as no one had the proper set so we know have a proper front and rear sway bar set for the car 5 way adjustable front and 4 way rear.

We have been developing our GT2 since 2004... Its got all the goodies

Fabyce is the expert so I defer to him. Call him for advice, he'll set you straight.

What I found for my car was that the PSS9's that I originally upgraded to were too lightly sprung for the track. Do your homework in this area. I went with the Moton Clubsports and stiffer springs. Big improvement. I found that stiffer sway bars also made a noticeable difference.

When you "upgrade" the suspension on the GT2, you do it right the first time.. Moton/JRZ hands down.. The adjustability you have is endless, it makes a once nervous car so settled and ready to take your driving level of the car upwards through the confidence you gain in the setup, whether it's rough bump surfaces or smooth as glass, track or backroads.. It's hard to explain, but GT2 owners will know exactly what I mean who have gone through setup after setup, stock suspension and components to modded, track work to fast back road driving lol..

The car comes with Bilsteins already, going with PSS9, KW, JIC IMO are not an upgrade, yes one may be a bit better then OEM but it's not enough to warrant upgrading to that of course in my opinion!

Fabryce will steer you in the right direction, that is your best bet... I have a GREAT setup for the track for my car, that has transformed and sorted other peoples GT2's as well if you ever needed help, don't hesitate to contact me!

I just finished installing a set of Triple Adjustable JRZ's.. NIght and Day difference from stock to now... AS iLLM3 has said.. infinite adjustability for road and track... The best mod I have done to any Car or Motorcycle I have ever owned...

Hi Fabryce,

I have read an article detailing your progress with the 996 GT2.

I did send you a PM a couple of weeks ago but got nothing back?

If you want me to resend please let me know.

Regards

Lee
