have not seen any updates by AMS on their K16 billet turbo set up.. are they still a sponser or member on here?... any members here have their K16's on their car? I thought I recall a member or 2 buying the set up.. would like to know about the outcome and results

Eric@ams last posted on the 23rd about the k16's. Even though that is nearly 2 weeks ago... given the time of year (x-mas to new years), I would still call that "recent" update.

AMS's development and testing continues on the Billet K16's as well a number of other 996tt related products .

I have the AMS Billet K16's and finally now the matching the EPL tune, its genuinely difficult to make a comparison as we have been living in a world of snow and ice here for the last 3 weeks and I was previously running 500 Hp. It feels like there is more mid range for sure and as for top end I genuinely have no idea as its simply too dangerous. Purchase and Fitting cost circa $10K so thats obviously significant, I'll let you know:

I am interested to know how the low end and mid end power would be with the K16 billet set up on a tip.. street use only.. top speed is not that important to me.. and would your K24 compared to your K16 set up be a big difference for a tip on the street .. thanks

Hey guys,

Hope you had a good holiday and new years!
We're still working hard over here. The billet K16's are ready to go, we have turbos here to sell with no wait time!(with and without cores). Currently we're just upgrading the parts in a certain order on our 996tt to release the full potential of these turbo's. From the intake pipe post we're currently at 680whp SAE max and next we're doing intercoolers with piping.

Right now we have a few miles on our 996tt with the current intake piping and will be pulling the motor down again to ensure there is no body/engine bay contact with our new intake piping system. After that we'll go into production on those since they work so well.

We just got our set of K24's with the upgraded wheels in and should be testing them within a few weeks!

Regards,

-Martin
