911tuning direct replacement Intercoolers(lot's of pics)

I have been up to no good over the last 12 months keeping quiet... lol But I have been hard at work developing really neat things... as a consumer myself for the last 12 years not only do I know what it's like to pay the Porsche tax but also when I get something of value. Amongst a number of tuning parts I am about to release this a sneak peak of what is coming...
These 3.5" tall ICs are the Bell cores with hand made IC end tanks made per order. They fit directly to stock IC hoses without the need of aftermarket hoses.... However, we can also make them fit aftermarket 2.5" hoses as well using clamps. We paid a lot of attention to the stock endtank restrictions... one in the upper endtank just below the hose fitting where it is particularly flat... the other on the lower endtank that looks like a vacuum cleaner end .. As a matter of fact after looking inside of one I noticed that almost half of the IC core is not even used... just the center...
If you live in a hot climate and run boost with bigger turbos... this is the one overlooked upgrade for many... I have been preaching about it forever.
I have been using Bell cores for 5 years on my car... from 3.5' to 4.5s and now even a 6" Ic core.... making them in house.... Recently Rob MD made 1100rwhp on my 4.5" ICs. My car is fitted with the 6" core which I will soon show some BIG HP numbers... It did 984rwhp on the 4.5" 2 years ago.
Thus my natural progression is to offer a 3.5" direct replacement High quality Bar & Plate Intercooler that actually fits a stock hose without the need for expensive after market hoses.
They will be priced fairly... as I said before... I have been other other side for most my P car experience...
thanks for looking and comments welcome...

markski

Thanks guys for the kind words... we took pictures during the photo shoot and compared the stock vs. our endtanks - just for kicks ... I think these pictures really tell a story... I purposely compared them side by side from various angles to expose the shortfalls and or benefits of both end tanks...

Me Likey, I'm impressed!

Good Job Mark!! Do you think these would be good on K24's with a tune or are the factory x50/ GT2 intercoolers good enough?

Thanks,
Alex

It is a subjective answer... but seeing that you live in Cali ( assuming in a hot region) it may be good upgrade...
Ics have one function- to cool the air going into the motor... colder=more power.

Mark,

Where I live it is usually 95-110 in the summer with low humidity if that helps... Plus during summer, it is the only time of the year I like to have fun in the canyons, during the fall the Santa Ana winds blow too much dirt all over the place, and during the spring water loves to stream out of random places. One time in my old e46 M3 I was taking a turn really hard, and then BOOM, there was a tumble weed the size of an old Mini Cooper sitting right infront of my face, but all it did was scratch the entire front end...

I am assuming it is black in finish from them? I have not done one- not even on my own 1000 rwhp car... actually of all 1000+ rwhp cars I know of none of use have it... with that said, I do not see why it cant be done... But it looks like that process alone takes a few weeks...

Very easy to see the improvements you made and the restrictions in the stock end tanks. Nice.
