03 996tt

I have been lurking since the site came up and I own a 99 C2. I am looking at buying a 03 TT non X50 with 7500 miles. Options are Full Leather, Painted rear console, 3 spoke steering wheel, Porsche crest in headrest, Alum shifter/brake, colored wheel crest, lumbar left and right, remote cd. What kind of price do you guys think this should be going for? I appreciate anyones input. TIA

I'd say low to mid 90s would be an excellent price, but dealers are probably asking a little more. Good luck

It is a dealer. Haven't got a firm price yet, but they are looking for mid 100's. I agree mid 90's would be great, but I don't see any 03's selling for that kind of price.

i'm looking too...

people throw out these really really low numbers and they just aren't true, imo, or there is a story with the car. i'm also starting to believe there is some truth to prices stabilizing or even going up b/c of the limited prod for '04.

i spoke to the GM of my hometown's pcar dealership thursday and he said an '02 with 5k miles would be b/w 88ish WHOLESALE - ie, that is what he would pay cash for the car. so an '03 would be 94-95 or so WHOLESALE.

is this the one at advantage?

mid 90's? I hope not ... that's about a 30% depreciation in about 4 months for me ... damn! should have bought used and put the rest in to mods

as long as you enjoy the car - who cares, right

like i mentioned, i've certainly heard higher (and lower) numbers... but based on my research, i think those numbers are pretty close to "right", at least for the south central part of the country.

if someone knows of a clean '03 for low-mid 90's, let me know!!

I looked at the Advantage car, but the one I looked at there was black and I don't want black. I agree if someone knows of a clean 03 for low-mid 90's, I'm in.

jm996: i've got a line on an '02 yellow/blk, 5k miles. i'm out of town but am going to look at it sunday. if it clean, i may buy that one. what are you specifically looking for? i have a couple of my dealer friends looking for me (one found the yellow one above). my problem has been finding the right color combo. most they've found are black, silver or SG. i think you're right, i highly doubt you can find a clean '03 for under 100k, or not much under 100k.

good luck.

an 03 with low miles will be difficult to come by. The reason is
1. would you let your 03 go if you purchased it new for
high 80's to low 90's
2. we are starting to see a trend with late model Turbos now that
people are keeping them because of the anticipation of depreciation stabilization of the series now with the low production numbers of the 04 - Good Luck

I'm actually looking for silver or grey. Black or grey interior. Pretty common colors. I don't want anything that is too bright like yellow or red. Just not my taste. Don't want black - too hard to keep clean although it sure looks good when it is clean. Looking for low miles. Not willing to pay too much for options. They don't mean that much to me. I'll let you know how my deal works out.
